Advent 2012: Good News of Great Joy

Well, we've finally made it to the last month or 2012. Take some time to reflect upon the year thus far. Has it been all that you had hoped for? One of struggle? Of prosperity? On perhaps it was just another year piled on top of all the others and will go down as insignificant in your mind. Whatever the case, remember that it's not over. There's still time to connect with Christ on a deeper and more intimate level. Advent begins in mere hours. As I mentioned yesterday, I'm making a conscious effort to put the "seasonal" noise out of mind and get more "reasonal" by going through an Advent devotional that's courtesy of Desiring God. I know this is a crazy time of year and everyone's busy. I include myself in that context. However, I've taken a glance at each day and am certain anyone can read through each day's devotion in mere minutes and perhaps use the rest of their day to reflect on the content. It's a small commitment to make for a deeper relationship with the one who gave His life for you. Download Great News of Great Joy and plan to follow along.
