In this post, Bonnie does a great job of pointing out how and why we find ourselves complicating the simple, which leads to paralysis. I love how she puts it: “We complicate the whisper. Then, our hearts become conflicted with confusion.”

Similar to Valerie’s post above, Jed talks about nagging doubts, angels and devils on our shoulders and the perpetual peskiness of that inner voice that keeps chat chat chattering to hold you back and keep you from moving forward. He offers some advice and personal experiences for flicking that voice off your shoulder and taking action.

As a father of three, I can readily empathize with anyone who is about to become a parent for the first time. In my case, I had several months to prepare for the big day of arrival. Imagine getting a call to become an adoptive parent and have less than 24 hours to do those same preparations. That’s what happened to Edwardo. He shares that experience and relates as story of how God used John 14:1-4 to ready him for the new season of life.
