This being the last day of 2015, I wanted to take a moment and share my gratitude to everyone who has encouraged me and taken part in refining life on purpose here at 1Glories throughout the year. I’ve personally learned a lot and experienced a lot of growth as a result of the effort and work taking place here, and I hope you have as well.

I also want to thank everyone who has been a participant in the publication of Listen Up, Kids: Foolish Dreams, Syncing with God & Running to Win. Whether you were counsel, proofreader, someone cheering me on, a part of the launch team or simply bought the book, I am personally indebted. Thank you. You blessed me in ways you could never imagine.

A Year of Listening Up

If you’ve read the Listening Up, Kids, then you know I conclude the book with a section called A Dozen Nuggets of LUK (Listening Up Kids) Wisdom. Whether you’ve bought the book or not, you can get a PDF overview of that on the Listen Up, Kids Bonus Materials page.

Using this as a guiding beacon, throughout 2016 at 1Glories, we’ll explore each one in detail. We’ll spend a month on a different nugget of wisdom. Every Monday – all 52 Mondays – will be a post that is in sync with the Year of Listening Up.

I am incredibly excited about this year-long project and hope you are as well. It will involve stories, scripture, prayers, books and more. I’m still putting the finishing touches on the Listen Up, Kids refining guide-book that can also be used in sync. More details on that and everything else will be shared early 2016.

Few creatures have as interesting a life metamorphosis as a dragonfly.

1Glories aims to inspire the pursuit of a refining life, on purpose. It’s an intentional and lifelong quest that partners with the Holy Spirit, draws us in, and shapes us into the masterpieces God envisioned for our lives. We shall be reflectors of the light! Thanks for joining in the mission.

Final Thoughts on 2015

Again, thank you for joining this journey to pursue a refining life, on purpose here at 1Glories. This year has been amazing, and I have no doubt the best is yet to come. As we conclude this year, remember it’s a good idea to reflect on the year, consider next year, and consider the big picture as you move forward. Resolutions are meaningless unless you have a plan and commitment to pursuing change. Even more important, resolutions are meaningless if you have no understanding of why you are pursuing them.

Finally, as is tradition, I am sharing with you the top posts of 2015. If you missed any of them, I would appreciate it if you would give them a read or re-read your favorite. Then, please share it on your Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest or wherever.

Blessings and Thanks.
